MealBud helps you generate personalized meal plans based on the profile and preferences you provide.

This policy describes the categories of data we process, why we process them, and the choices available to you.

Account data: email address, name, and authentication credentials when you register.

Profile data: body metrics, health context, dietary preferences, cooking context, and app language settings.

Plan and usage data: generated meal plans, meal logs, meal feedback, shopping-list selections stored on your device, and soft usage quotas for plan generation and meal replacement.

Technical data: basic product analytics and operational logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.

We use your data to authenticate you, store your nutrition profile, generate and update meal plans with AI providers, send transactional emails (verification and password reset), and improve product reliability.

Meal planning may send relevant profile and plan context to our AI model provider (currently Google Gemini) solely to generate or replace meals.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We retain account and plan data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

Access is protected with industry-standard practices including hashed passwords, session controls, and ownership checks on plan APIs.

You can update profile information in settings, request account or data deletion via the contact channels below, and stop using the service at any time.
